Return and Cancellation Policy

If, as a Traveller, you cancel your requested booking by lifting a ticket, if the Operator rejects your booking request due to unavailability, it will automatically cancel any pre-authorization to your credit card and/or refund any nominal amount charged to your credit card in relation to the requested booking within a commercially reasonable time (10-15 business days). You agree to pay Pangea Wanderers the deposit for any bookings requested in relation to your Pangea Wanderers account if such requested bookings are confirmed by the operator. Once your reservation is confirmed and you have received the acknowledgment of receipt by email, what you have paid is non-refundable. If the cancellation is made within 31 days prior to departure, 100% of these costs will be forfeited. Cancellation of permits will result in 100% loss of costs.

Neither Pangea Wanderers nor the operators selling their tours on our website  offer or pay any discount or refund for lost or unused services that were lost or unused by the traveler due to causes beyond the control of Pangea Wanderers, or the operators working with “Pangea Wanderers”, which will include any termination of the traveler’s participation in the tour due to their own fault,  negligence or breach of these Terms.

All traveler complaints about their tour experience will be passed on to the tour operator’s team for resolution. Pangea Wanderers is committed to working with tour operators to achieve a high level of service. However, if the response time and/or quality of the tour operator’s response remains less than the acceptable time and quality despite us working together to rectify any issues, Pangea Wanderers reserves the right to remove tour listings from our website market operators, from affiliated websites,  of mobile applications and to remove any applications provided by us.

 

Unforeseen circumstances cancellations and refunds by operators

If an operator cancels a confirmed booking made through the Services, Pangea Wanderers will refund any payment for such booking to the relevant traveler within a commercially reasonable time of cancellation and the traveler may receive an email or other communication from Pangea Wanderers containing alternative listings and other related information. If the traveler requests a reservation from one of the alternative listings, this will be treated as a new group travel reservation. If an operator cancelled a confirmed booking and you, as a traveler, have not received an email or other communication from Pangea Wanderers, please contact Pangea Wanderers.

 

Cancellation in case of inclement weather

Certain tours may depend on the weather. However, in case of inclement weather, the operator has the discretion to decide if weather conditions will prevent the tour from taking place. As an operator, if you need to cancel a group trip due to bad weather reasons, you should contact the traveler and Pangea Wanderers as  soon as possible. With the traveler’s consent, the operator and traveler may choose to reschedule the group tour for another date. If the Group Tour cannot be rescheduled, as a traveler, please contact Pangea Wanderers to help you find a replacement Group Tour that is not weather dependent. For clarity, in the event that the alternative Group Tour is of a higher price than the previous one, you may be responsible for any difference in price. In the event that the alternative Group Tour is of lower price, you may be entitled to a partial refund of the difference. As a traveler, if you have contacted Pangea Wanderers as stated above and Pangea Wanderers is unable to find you a replacement Group Tour, Pangea Wanderers may refund payment for such booking to the traveler within a commercially reasonable time after cancellation.
